Full house moves, start to finish. We wrap the furniture, load it properly, drive it, and put it where you want it in the new place. Flats, terraces, four-beds, part-loads, the job gets quoted on what is actually in it.

One van, one or two movers, booked by the job. Single items, a room's worth of furniture, a student move, a marketplace pickup that will not fit in the car. Straightforward, and priced the same way.

Areas covered
Based in Dunstable (LU6), so most of Bedfordshire and west Hertfordshire is a short run for us. We also cover Houghton Regis, Biggleswade, Sandy, Shefford, Letchworth, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield, plus the villages in between. Moving further afield? We still do long-distance moves out of the area , tell us where you are going and we will price it.

A fixed price in writing, based on the van size and crew the job actually needs. No obligation to take it.
Happy with the price? We lock the date in and confirm the arrival window with you.
We turn up on time, wrap and load, drive it, and unload into the right rooms at the other end.
That is our half of it. For your half, we have written out the whole thing as a house moving checklist , eight weeks before through to your first week in the new place, 56 tasks you can tick off as you go.

It depends on the volume, the access at both ends and the distance, which is why we survey before we price rather than quoting off a bedroom count. What we can promise is the shape of it: one fixed price, agreed in writing, before the van is booked. If the job changes we tell you before we do the work, not after.
The removals is only part of it. Budget for the move itself, plus the things people forget: mail redirection, an overlap on council tax if the dates do not line up, and a broadband install at the new place. We only quote for our half, and we quote it properly.
We wrap furniture as standard, blankets, straps and a trolley included rather than added on. Full box packing of an entire house is a separate conversation, so tell us when you enquire and we will price it in rather than surprising you on the day.
Tell us what you need when you book and we will sort it. Most people underestimate how many they want, so it is worth asking early rather than the night before.
We will disconnect and reconnect a standard plumbed washing machine. Anything that needs a gas fitter or an electrician is not ours to touch, and any firm that says otherwise is one to be careful of. Flag white goods when you book so we bring the right bits.
The honest answer is as much as you can give, because Fridays and the last working day of the month go first. That said, we would always rather you called about a short-notice job than assumed we were full.
We agree an arrival window with you when the date is confirmed, and for most house moves that means an early start. If we are running late you will hear it from us before you have to ask.
A typical three-bed within Bedfordshire or Hertfordshire is usually a single day, loading in the morning and unloading in the afternoon. Access is what moves that more than volume does: a second-floor flat with no lift is a different job from a house with a driveway.
Council tax at both councils, your energy and water suppliers with meter readings, broadband, the DVLA for your licence and V5C, your bank, employer, GP and dentist, plus Royal Mail redirection. Our house moving checklist sets out when to do each one.
Ask three firms for a written price and check they are all quoting for the same thing. Ask whether the price is fixed or hourly, what happens if the job overruns, and whether they have looked at the access. A firm that quotes without asking about parking has not thought about your move.
Yes. We carry insurance covering your belongings in transit. We do not publish a provider or a cover limit here because those change, so ask and we will give you the current detail in writing.
We work seven days and around the clock, and the price is quoted on the job rather than the hour. If a Saturday or an evening start suits you better, say so when you enquire.
